A free program offering in-person and live virtual workshops to help people in active cancer treatment understand and address ways to deal with the appearance-related side effects of treatment. Healing Touch Cancer Support Group

Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the prayer room at the Trinity United Methodist Church. All cancer patients, family and friends as well as cancer survivors are welcome. This group began in 1995 and continues today as an encouraging and loving place for those experiencing cancer in their lives. Every month has a focus and all meetings begin and end in prayer.

The Healing Hearts bereavement support program offers individual, family and group counseling to help anyone who is coping with loss, regardless of how it occurs. Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation

The mission of the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation is to assist children and young adults 0-22 years old with leukemia and other cancers and their families by providing emotional and financial support to help reduce the stress associated with treatment and improve their quality of life up to 6 months following treatment. Child must be a permanent resident of North Florida, South Georgia, Northern NJ, or New York City. All financial assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis based on the needs of the child and family. To apply for financial assistance in Florida, families should contact a hospital social worker.

This is a free insurance counseling program designed for elders, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers. Highly trained volunteers assist elders with their health insurance questions. Provides assistance with and information on Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Savings Programs, Low-Income Subsidies assistance with Medicare Part D Plans, and Patient Assistance Programs for help with prescriptions through the pharmaceutical companies.
