Ocala Oncology/Florida Cancer Affiliates provides a public cancer resource room during business hours with free items such as wigs, hats, blankets, pillows, port covers, and more, along with information on local community resources. Emotional and psychosocial support is available through an on‑site emotional support counselor, as well as several local and virtual support groups, including general cancer support groups, a monthly breast cancer survivor group, and a multiple myeloma support group. In addition, educational opportunities are offered through community programs that provide cancer education and opportunities for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to learn and connect.
