An online, monthly support group for individuals affected by breast cancer, including those newly diagnosed, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers. Sessions may include guest speakers, such as medical professionals, and provide access to additional support and resources to help participants navigate diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship in a safe and confidential setting. Cancer Education and Support Sessions – UF Health

Bimonthly virtual programs hosted by UF Health for patients, survivors, caregivers, and friends affected by cancer. These sessions are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators and feature education from UF Health multidisciplinary cancer experts, along with opportunities to connect with others facing similar experiences. Topics include cancer prevention and treatment, understanding pathology results, specific cancer types (i.e. breast, gastric, and pancreatic cancers), nutrition, occupational therapy, genetics, and cancer risk.
Debbie’s Dream Foundation (Curing Stomach Cancer)
Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of stomach cancer, supporting research, and providing education and support to patients, caregivers, and families worldwide. The organization hosts a monthly Stomach Cancer Support Group for individuals affected by stomach cancer, including patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. Florida Cancer Specialists Lake City – Virtual Support Groups

Free, online support offered only for FCS patients and caregivers during cancer treatment and survivorship. Led by behavioral health therapists and facilitated by clinical social workers, these weekly groups provide emotional support, education, and guided discussion in a confidential, virtual setting. Florida Healthy Start – Central & North Central Florida Coalitions
Healthy Start is a statewide program providing education, screening, care coordination, and support services for pregnant individuals, parents, infants, and young children. Through local Healthy Start coalitions, the program offers referrals, home visiting, group education, and support to promote healthy pregnancies and early childhood development. Services vary by county and are delivered through community‑based partners. Healthy Start services are available in Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Suwannee, and Union counties; local county health departments or Healthy Start coalitions can provide additional information and referrals.

Our mission is to support each other as Patients, Survivors, Caregivers, Family, and Friends in a friendly relaxed environment. We welcome all new members from any surrounding counties. We frequently have Oncology guest speakers, who keeps the group provided on new technology in the treatment of Multiple Myeloma. March is Multiple Myeloma Action Month and we now have an annual seminar in the month of march. Please come for a visit, and we hope you become an member.

Haven Hospice – Bereavement and Grief Support Group

The Healing Hearts bereavement support program offers individual, family and group counseling to help anyone who is coping with loss, regardless of how it occurs. Throughout the year, Healing Hearts offers grief support and educational programs for those who may have lost a mate, parent, child or other family member. Healing Touch Cancer Support Group
Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the prayer room at the Trinity United Methodist Church. All cancer patients, family and friends as well as cancer survivors are welcome. This group began in 1995 and continues today as an encouraging and loving place for those experiencing cancer in their lives. Every month has a focus and all meetings begin and end in prayer.

Look Good Feel Better
A free program offering in-person and live virtual workshops to help people in active cancer treatment understand and address ways to deal with the appearance-related side effects of treatment. This includes lessons on skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories and styling. Thousands of beauty professionals volunteer to support LGFB.
The Ulman Foundation
The Ulman Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adolescents and young adults, along with their families, impacted by cancer. Through its comprehensive programs, the foundation addresses the physical, emotional, and social challenges that arise during treatment and survivorship.
One of its core services is the Ulman House, which provides free lodging for individuals undergoing cancer treatment away from home just blocks away from top hospitals and oncology programs in Baltimore, MD. The supportive residential environment is designed to reduce the financial and emotional burden of treatment travel.
In addition to housing, the Ulman Foundation offers virtual support groups and community programming that provide emotional support, peer connection, and survivorship resources for young adults navigating cancer treatment, recovery, and life beyond diagnosis.
