Healthwell Foundation
This nonprofit organization offers help with insurance copays, premiums, deductibles, and out of pocket costs for a wide variety of cancers through grants. The foundation also offers specialized support for transportation, home care services, and behavioral health needs of oncology caregivers. Assistance is provided to cancer patients based on proof of inability to pay.

AVONCares

This program is a partnership between CancerCare and the Avon Foundation for Women, and it provides financial assistance for non-medical, practical costs to low-income, underinsured, or uninsured individuals diagnosed with breast, cervical, or ovarian cancer. The program assists with essential needs like transportation, home care, and childcare for eligible individuals undergoing active treatment.
Suwannee Valley Transit Authority
Lifeline is the Florida Division’s transportation program. In addition to the Road to Recovery program, Lifeline can also help cancer patients find other transportation resources that may be available in their community to get them to cancer treatment related appointments.

Road to Recovery

The Road to Recovery program (provided by the American Cancer Society) provides transportation to and from treatment for people who have cancer and do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need.

Corporate Angel Network, Inc. (CAN)
CAN finds free air transportation on corporate flights for eligible cancer patients who need medical treatments like surgeries, clinical trials, or second opinions.
Air Charity Network
Provides access for people in need who are seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations due to family, community, or national crisis. Air Charity Network serves all 50 states and its volunteer pilots utilize their own aircraft, fuel, and time to provide free air transportation to medical facilities for citizens who are financially distressed or otherwise unable to travel via public transportation.
